Jallosh 35 - March 2025 Report

On March 22nd, 2025 the Jallosh Clean Coast initiative continued its eff orts by organizing its monthly beach cleanup across several beaches in Mumbai, including Juhu Pagli, Bandra, Dadar, and Mahim.
This initiative seeks to combat pollution and preserve marine life and is held on weekends.
Volunteers were divided into teams and worked diligently to remove plastic trash from the shores.
Over 884 volunteers participated, contributing a remarkable 2,210 hours collectively to the cleanup.
Together, they successfully collected an impressive 5,364 kilograms of plastic waste from the sea.

On March 23rd, 2025 the Jallosh Clean Coast initiative of Project Mumbai, in collaboration with L&T, organized a beach cleanup drive at Juhu Koliwada Beach as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) eff orts.
L&T volunteers came together for this initiative, which aimed to clean the local beach, instill a sense of civic responsibility among the volunteers, and raise awareness about the importance of waste management.
A total of 90 volunteers dedicated over 225 hours to the cleanup eff ort, successfully collecting 470 kilograms of plastic waste from the sea.

This Jallosh initiative shows the power of community action to keep Mumbai’s beaches clean and safe.
