PLASTIC PICKUP DRIVE

Powai Stack Your Pack

Powai Stack Your Pack is a separate and inclusive drive for Powai Hiranandani residential area. It covers 31 Apartments. The drive was conducted on 9th and 22nd of May 2024, and Project Mumbai collected a total of 630 kg of plastic waste.

Bulk Pickup Drive

The bulk pickup drive covers larger residenOn Saturday, 4th of May 2024, Project Mumbai conducted Plastic Pickup Drive. Project Mumbai covered 52 locations of the city which have participated with us for this initiative. 1380 kg of plastic waste collected from this month’s drive. The drive was divided into 5 routes from Western line and Central line of the city.
ts. Project Mumbai has a total of 5 bulk pickup points in the city from where Project Mumbai collects the plastic waste. Project Mumbai conducted Bulk drive on 15th of May, 2024 and collected plastic waste around 200 kg.

Total Collection

Project Mumbai collected 2.21 Tons of plastic waste in total from all Pickup Drive’s conducted in this Month.

AWARENESS SESSION

Borivali Fire Station & S.J Studios

On 7th May Project Mumbai conducted an Awareness session at Borivali Fire Station, and on 13th May Project Mumbai conducted the Awareness session in S.J Studios at Saki Naka. The Housekeeping staff were present in the sessions, the sessions were very interactive and it covered all points related to The Mumbai Plastic Recyclothon and Plastic Waste Management. Project Mumbai conducted 2 Awareness Sessions in the Month of May.

POWAI 360 EVENT

In collaboration with one of the best Sportsman A.B de Villiers Project Mumbai conducted a 360 Event in Powai Hiranandani at Heritage Garden where Project Mumbai talked about The Mumbai Plastic Recyclothon and Project Mumbai in brief. A.B de Villiers interacted with people about our Initiative and also took part In Bench painting which is made from the Recycled Plastic Waste donated by Citizens under the Initiative. Along with benches Project Mumbai showcases other Amenities made up from the Recycled plastic waste like, Compass boxes, T-shirts and Pens.
