On March 16, 2024, Project Mumbai initiative Jallosh~Clean Coasts took charge of its monthly beach cleanup across several Mumbai beaches including Juhu, Bandra, Mahim, Dadar, Erangal, Powai, and Juhu Koliwada. Jallosh’s mission is to fight pollution and protect marine life.

Divided into teams, volunteers worked tirelessly to remove plastic trash from the shores. With over 450+ volunteers, their dedication was remarkable, with over 1,100 hours collectively invested in the cleanup effort. Together, they successfully collected a whopping 3,800 kilograms of plastic waste from the sea.

This initiative by Jallosh marks a significant step forward in keeping Mumbai’s beaches clean and safe, demonstrating the power of community action against environmental degradation.
