The session is free for citizens and is held at the Byculla Headquarters of the Mumbai Fire Brigade and will take place every Saturday and will admit only pre-registered candidates.

Activity Details:

This month the Agni Rakshak session was held on 27th April, Saturday. There were a total of 63 volunteers. The volunteers came from different groups and colleges. This month we had Centuria Aviation Academy and other citizens who came through Online Registration as participants for the session.

Theory Lecture Session:

This lecture was given by Fire Officer V.C. Vishwasrao. The theory lecture session consists of basic information about fire safety and the overall history of the Mumbai Fire Brigade. The session is very helpful to the volunteers in understanding the methods of taking action in case of any fire-calling accident.

Mental Health Session:

The Mental Health Session contains information about Human Psychology and how to be mentally calm in case of a fire accident. The session was pretty communicative as it helped the volunteers to open up about their fears and doubts. This session was taken by Shloka Shanbhag

Practical Fire Safety Training:

In Practical fire safety training, the officers teach the volunteers how to use a Fire Extinguisher. Fire Officer D.N. Jadhav commanded the session.
